Map 1: PDF - JPG *To view an Adobe PDF file you must have Acrobat Reader click here to get Adobe Acrobat Reader FROM New York City Take the George Washington Bridge to N.J. - use Upper Level* Take the first exit on right - Palisades Interstate Parkway North Continue on the Pallisades Interstate Parkway North for approximately 35 miles to Exit #18. This is a left-side exit. Proceed to the traffic circle (1/4 mile) and go around circle to the second exit (onto Long Mountain Parkway) follow signs for Route 6 and Central Valley (for approximately 5 miles). Proceed over the mountain, bearing left near the top of the mountain and continue to follow signs for Route 6 and Central Valley. Follow Route 6 down the mountain and take the first exit after the bridge over the N.Y.S. Thruway (Exit for Route 17/32 - for Suffern/Newburgh). Make a left at the traffic light at exit ramp, proceed south for 1/4 mile through two traffic lights to closed Nepera Chemical plant. Take a left onto Arden House Road and proceed one mile to large Stable. * The Palisades Interstate Parkway North can be accessed from the Lower Level of George Washington Bridge by following the signs through Fort Lee, N.J.
New York State Thruway Exit Directions Exit the N.Y.S. Thruway at Exit #16. Bear right after passing through the Toll Booth and take the first exit (approximately 100 yards after Booth). Make a left (south) at the traffic light at the end of exit ramp onto Route 17/32. Proceed south for 2 mile through three traffic lights to closed Nepera Chemical plant. Take a left onto Arden House Road and proceed one mile to large Stable.
FROM Southern Connecticut Take the Merritt Parkway or I-95 South to Route I-287 West. Take I-287 West (Cross Westchester Expressway) to the Tappan Zee Bridge. Proceed over bridge. Proceed North on the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 16 (approximately 30 miles). Follow the directions above for New York State Thruway Exit Directions.
FROM Northern Connecticut Take Route I-84 West to the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Proceed North on I-84 West to the N.Y.S Thruway (I-87) approximately 5 miles. Follow signs for N.Y.S. Thruway (I-87 South). Proceed on I-87 South for one exit, to Exit 16 (approx. 15 miles). Follow directions above for - New York State Thruway Exit Directions.
